Vail is an introspective and published photographer, poet, designer, and time traveller. She shunned journalism upon discovering its hungry detachment, has failed at therapy, world domination, and ant architecture but has flourished in the fields of Etymology, Corporate Politics, Upcycling (all things which Crows also excel at). She is a certifiable wildlife rehabilitator and holds multiple unfinished degrees. Currently living in Europe, she spends her days watching shriveled pears dangle from dead branches, Hooded Crows mock her lens' studious gaze, and rain make fantastical maps on her windows.
